Ice Station by Matthew Reilly

FAST PACED ACTION THRILLER -
If you are looking for a man (beats chest, eats meat) kinda book then please invest or borrow a Matthew Reilly from your local bookshop/library. They are absolutely brilliant.

You sit down to read and get drawn in real quick, total page turners, and then two days later (when you've emerged at the end of the book) you will be raving to all your mates about how mad this is.

The first book we stumbled upon was Ice Station - I somehow thought it was about aliens, but it was sooo much better than that.

The plot in a nutshell - Mcmurdo Ice station - something is found deep under the snow thought to be Alien or other. A US special forces team is sent in to claim it for America, they are soon joined by British, French and another American team, each wanting to claim it for themselves.

Lo and behold, hovercrafts raising over the ice, gun fights, killer whales, blood, action, gun fights, pretty much to the death...

I can't even begin to make this book sound as good as it truly is. Please, give it a try and I promise you will NOT be disappointed.
